Mithril Miniatures has released two more 32mm scale metal miniatures in June 2018. The first one is the
Watcher at Cirith Ungol, part of a pair of ancient immobile sentries that guard the gate to that dread fortress. Through sheer force of will these sentient entities prevent enemies passing between them. Tolkien desribed them as seated figures, three headed, with the likeness of a vulture and with claw-like hands.
This was March 2017's winning idea and was originally suggested by 'barliman'.
The 2nd release is the
Easterling king, a leader of one of the warlike tribes usually following a nomadic and pastoral lifestyle, who from time to time had conflicts with Gondor and Rohan. This leader was given one of the nine magic rings that eventually would corrupt him and turn him into a Nazgul.
This was July 2017's winning idea and was suggested by 'Khador'.
There are only 100 of each of these produced. Both need some assembly and they are not primed.
